Sunday night in Portland was pretty boring for me personally, although like Seattle the City looked beautiful along its respective river.

An easy drive down to San Fran. We wanted to get there before it got dark because the entry into the city over the Bay Bridge is something to behold. Anyway, dusk beat us to the bridge so we headed to the hotel.

We were in San Fran about 8 months ago whereupon we ventured into a bar called Dylan’s. Someone back home had told us about this bar – it being Welsh n’ all. It’s owned by a man from Merthyr named Titch Jones and his wonderful wife Danielle. Titch is from Cefn Coed near Merthyr Tydfil. He moved to the States years ago. There are too many stories to fit into these pages, but all said and done, madness ensued Welsh style!

So Chris, Bob and I drove over to the pub that night to say hi! Titch was at home but Danielle was at the bar. Had a pint and a chat. Good to see old friends. We went back to the hotel with arrangements to meet tomorrow.
