Boston

Left for Boston at 8.30am. Had to stop off at Wellesley College to do a radio interview. From there we headed into Boston past the famous Boston Redsocks ground (Fenway Park). They have a wall there called the green monster because it’s so difficult to hit the ball out of the park in that direction. Met our promotion team in Boston (Planetary Group). Nice people. Our record (Ican see…) is at 65 this week in the CMJ chart.

Left there and then headed for the hotel (the Hyatt Regency). Very nice. After a quick shower, sound check. We played at the venue called ‘TT the Bears Place’. Cool club nice people.

Told the barmaid (Mel) some dirty jokes. She told us the dirtiest joke though! Not to be repeated here to protect the innocent! Nice one Mel! Best of luck in LA when you move there in the Summer.

Gig went ok, but not up to the brilliant standard required as yet. The headline band Apollo Sunshine (who went on after us) were one of the best bands I’ve ever seen. Truly brilliant!

Went back to the hotel dog-tired. This is going to be one hard slog. But good fun though.
